From what I understand, Challenger engines had a problem with exploding camshafts because there was a design flaw in the lubrication system.
I think you are thinking of the 5.7L V8 Hemi's and 6.4L V8 Hemi's with the MDS system. They had some lifter issues. I don't think the 6.1L V8 Hemis that came in these SRT8s had those issues, however if you have an article that says otherwise I would like to read it. Thanks

The blue intake is smashed up on the end of it. That’s because the passenger side motor mount is gone but Car needs all new motor The passenger side always goes first
It's normally always the driver side that go out first. At least that's what happens on my SRT8 and my friends SRT8 as well. I just changed my driver mount 3 weeks ago.
